We ‘re dying to get up on stage, yet for some reason, once we’re up there we may feel unsafe and terrified. So what do we do? We desperately seek for support. A voice, a knock on the door, a phone ringing, another person bursting in through the walls. That is especially common at the very beginning of the scene and many times we may not even realize doing it.
This workshop will show you how to handle any scene like a pro, completely by yourself, without needing the crutch of another player. You will work with a number of exercises that help you gain your confidence when working solo on stage.
NOTE: This is *not* a solo show workshop. What we aim to achieve through this session is to be able to handle ourselves alone on stage and feeling confident doing it no matter how long we stay alone.
Beginner and Intermediate levels of experience.
Can be taught as a 3 or 6 hour slot.
